More than 400 St. Louis-area business leaders filled the ballroom at the Ameristar Casino St Charles to raise more than $200,000.00 for St. Louis-area cancer patients and their families at the annual dinner of the St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer.
The net proceeds are directed to specific cancer-related organizations that focus on prevention, research, and care activities in the St. Louis community. These proceeds are generated from ticket sales, a raffle and corporate sponsors.
The Men’s dinner is a win-win situation, for both the beneficiary organizations and those attending the benefit,” said executive director Margie Price. “The
organizations receive funding for their efforts against cancer, while the participants enjoy an evening with good friends and gourmet dining, and take home valuable gifts and memories.”
